Airplanes!

Flying home for the first time with Alexis=super stressed out mommy. I was so afraid Alexis was going to hate flying and scream her head off. However, she decided to make it an easy and fast flight, much thanks little angel!

Trying to keep her occupied between flights. And no, I did not let her play on the gross floor...just sitting for the sake of a picture for daddy.

Passing down the rocking chair

The other day I ventured into Alexis' closet to dig up some little pj's for her cousin Willow...and my little rocking chair caught my eye. I realized it had been a while since I tried sitting her in it last and wondered how she would react since she sits up much better now. At first she wasn't quite sure what to think of it.....But she quickly found her smiley cheeks when mommy told her what a "big girl" she was sitting in that rocking chair all by herself!

Fall Fun

I love, love, love fall-all the leaves change color and fall onto the ground, the weather is that perfect temperature, and I have another excuse to break out my camera! An added bonus: my lil client was in a great mood :)

3/8 Potluck & Birthday Ceremony

Tonight we went to the 3/8 Thanksgiving potluck and it was definitely nice to get out. We enjoyed lots of yummy food, played some trivia, and spent time with friends and other wives. Even though I had a good time, Alexis was quite skeptical at first..


Which quickly turned into a screaming occasion. She does not like crowds, to say the least.
As grouchy and upset she was at the potluck, I very much enjoyed my not-as-little (but very happy) buddy once we got back to our peaceful and quiet home.

Raiders!!

Once again, I broke out the camera for some daddy-oriented pictures...I dug through Zack's packed clothes until I found his jerseys, and added my matching bow.


I definitely have a lot to learn about my camera, so for now, I'm taking what I can get. But with a cutie like ours, pictures are rarely disappointing!

Hair Bows & Headbands

The other day I found myself in a crafty mood (not scrapbooking-crafty, unfortunately)...and decided to make my lil cutie some new bows with all the ribbon I had stashed away. These are the beginning of my hair accessory adventure:

The middle ribbon is of course, Oakland Raiders inspired. That's right, I-a Tennessee Titans fan-am allowing our sweet, innocent daughter to follow her father's footsteps to the dark side.

So I decided to pull out some of Zack's cammies and covers today to take a few pictures...hoping it will bring a smile to his face when he sees them! It was a short "photo shoot" as someone was quickly cranky and went down for a nap.

I love this one; even though she refused to look at me. Ooo is that something shiny?!

I asked her what she was doing; she said she's practicing her drill instructor skills....

I love my daddy!!

Since Alexis has been drooling nearly as much as she eats, bibs have become a regular part of outfits. I thought this one was especially cute :) Lately, whenever I show her the picture of Zack on the background of my phone, she gets a big smile on her face and lets out a shriek! Or she gets her seriousness on and tells him stories...probably telling him to come home and rescue her from the crazy lady that never leaves :)And yes, she is sitting up all by herself :) Of course, only long enough for me to take her picture!

I'm back!

So I've figured out that I'm not very good at this whole blogging business. Out of the million things I constantly check on my computer, this one seems to have fallen between the cracks. However, now that I have once again found my blog, I figure I should keep it up for the sake of little Alexis' adventures. And daddy will get to see some pictures matching with stories!!
